Can treatment make my condition worse?
As long as the care is provided by a certified and qualified chiropractor, care is a safe and non-intrusive way to deal with your chronic pain. Complications are extremely unlikely, especially when compared to the risks of surgery or other forms of treatment.
If I start, do I need to continue treatment for life?
Some conditions may be treated successfully so that you do not need to continue with chiropractic treatments. However, with most cases, keeping periodic appointments ensures that your condition remains stable and can be monitored. It is not the care you receive that necessitates continued appointments, but rather the condition you had before starting with chiropractic care.
If I've had back surgery, can I still benefit from care?
Absolutely! It's unfortunate, but often patients who have had back surgery will experience a recurrence of their original condition years later. Chiropractic care is a safe and efficient way to help deal with the pain and stress associated with your condition after the initial healing process is complete.
Can I use my health insurance?
We will happily bill your insurance company as allowed with your policy. If there are any copays or co-insurance due, you will be required to pay these at the time of your visit.
Please note that insurance companies require you to obtain a referral, which must be done prior to your visit. If your insurance does not pay for the visit for any reason, the balance becomes your responsibility.
What if I don't have health insurance?
We offer a sliding payment scale for both our chiropractic adjustments and massage therapy appointments to make your payments as affordable as possible.
